The objective of this course is to provide participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in industrial and warehouse environments. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify workplace hazards, conduct pre-operation inspections, handle loads correctly, comply with safety regulations, and reduce the risk of accidents, injuries, and equipment damage.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Rated capacity and load center

  • Stability triangle concept

Module 2: Safety Regulations & Standards

  • Applicable local regulations (e.g., Saudi labor & safety requirements)

  • Employer and operator responsibilities

  • PPE requirements

  • Safe workplace practices

Module 3: Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment

  • Common forklift accidents

  • Causes of tip-overs

  • Pedestrian safety

  • Working in confined spaces

  • Working on ramps and slopes

Module 4: Pre-Operation Inspection

  • Daily inspection checklist

  • Fluid levels

  • Tires & forks condition

  • Hydraulic system

  • Reporting defects

Module 5: Safe Operating Procedures

  • Starting & stopping procedures
